Note/Thank you card

I just received the Straight from the Nest cartridge, in the mail yesterday. I kept flip flopping on whether I should get this cartridge or not. After a little back and forth I decided to get it. I love this tree, as well as the others, and looking through the booklet I think I made the right choice. This cartridge will have many uses over time.
After a little playing around I decided to make a general note/thank you card. I like the two-fold card from the booklet and ones I have seen on other blogs, so I made my first attempt.

I have left the inside blank, so when an occasion comes up I can add a note or other sentiments.
This is a tiny card only 4 inches, the tree I set at 5 inches. There is always something going on, so I`m sure this card won`t sit around for long.

Birthday Card

I would like to start off by saying thank you to everyone who has visited my blog. I know there isn’t much to see, but I will keep working on it. I would also like to thank my first followers. I appreciate your time and early commitment.
On to the card! I was asked to make a birthday card for someone who likes blue, and is fond of elephants. After going through the cartridges I do have, I came up with this cute card.

Cartridges:

The windowed card was cut from Don Juan.
The elephant from Create a Critter.
The balloon is from Once upon a princess.

The ribbon is from a 24 pack I picked up at Winners. The punch is EK. Both stamps are from Michael’s discount bin.

I don’t know the recipient of this card but I hope they like it.

Smile!

I was on a roll today and trying out my new Cricut Cartridge Wild Card. My Mom has had a weird week so looking through the Wild Card booklet I put together a quick card, that I will send to help make her day. I'm glad I haven't told her about my blog yet, other wise I would have had to wait to post this. I hope it makes you and her smile!

Halloween Cards!

This will be my first post, how exciting! I am new to paper crafts, and only recently bought my Cricut Create. I am slowly building my cartridge collection, and don't have a lot, but it is growing everyday (well not eeeveryday, but it's growing) I got Wild Card in the mail today so I got to play with my new cartridge.
Being a gloomy day, I decided to make three Halloween cards. I will be sending these cards off to my three pen pals. Time is running out so I will have to get them in the mail soon. Till then I will share my creations. Enjoy!

Card #1

This card I made for CRICUT 360ยบ’s Spooky  Halloween Blog Hop!

This card was made using Cricut Cartridge Wild Card. I bought this cartridge after seeing another blogger used the argyle card, I think I will be using this card a lot! The Halloween stamp I picked up at Micheal's in their dollar bin.

Card #2

This card was also made with Cricut Cartridge Wild Card and has the same stamp as above. I love owls, though this guy was lacking detail, I tried to spice him up a bit by rubbing soft pastel on the edges and cut outs.

Card # 3

This card was made with Cricut Cartridge Celebrate with Flourish. I love this cartridge, but hate the time it takes to put all the pieces together. I have left the inside blank and will fill it in with my own note.
