Easter - Take Two!

I haven't been overly impressed with some of my creations lately. I some times jump in feet first without planning the out come. I was not happy with the Easter card I posted yesterday and would like a do over. Today during work I had an idea for a cute little treat for my co-workers, friends and family. I may still add a stamped tag, but I have to admit that I am happy how this turned out. This is the  3D strawberry cut from the Spring Cottage cartridge. I embossed the outer layer with Cuttlebug's dot folder and the leaves with swirls by Tim Holtz. I cut them at 4.75" which was the perfect size for a cream egg. I was originally going to make 12 of these but one cream egg didn't make it (yum!), leaving 11 to hand out.

Enjoy,

~C

  5. These are really kewl Colin! Perfect to hold the little eggs and I'm sure whoever you give one of these to will just love it! The embossing really makes them look like real berries! Kuddos to you for only eating one egg! I can never eat just one.

  7. I like all things Strawberry including these. I do not have the Spring Cottage Cricut cartridge. Looked at it today at JoAnns but it is $59.99 there. I'll wait for a sale. I'm growing strawberries and each morning I have been picking a couple for breakfast with my cereal.
