This card is one that I created for my guest designer spot but I wanted something that went with the theme of gardening better. I like this card so I have decided to share it and also enter it into a challenge or over at Made Especially for you: 3 flowers. I made the flowers with Flower Shoppe and the tree is from Straight From the Nest. I went with Earth tones and finished it off with brown twine.
Hope you're having a sunny day!

So pretty. Love the tree and how the flower turned out.

Very pretty, you did a great job on your flowers and love how your tree hangs a little over the card!

Wowza, this is gorgeous! I love the clean look to it and the pretty details! Well done! Thank you so much for playing along with us at Made Especially For You this week!
ReplyDeleteVery nice cards Colin. I like that you are giving yourself challenges. I tried that once but I never could stick to it. I was trying to use up all my scraps but I always wanted to use new stuff! Ah well what can you do?
ReplyDeleteGuess who got Flower Shoppee? Yep, and I tried making a flower and it didn't turn out even half as good as yours do! How do you get the centers to look so darn good?? I love the way you do your flowers! What a pretty card Colin!

This is lovely! Love that tree and your flowers are awesome! I have the Flower Shoppe cart, too and I love it! Great card and good luck in the challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog and commenting on my quick, easy cards! To answer your question, yes the gator and octopus (and elephant) were in a chipboard pack by Me and My Big Ideas that I picked up on clearance at Joann's. Makes the cards soo quick when you don't have to cut something with the cricut.
Hope you have a good day and a great weekend!

Your flowers are just great. I have a similar flower die, and it doesn't work well for me. This is a great card. Thanks for joining us over at ME4Y.
ReplyDeleteNicely done! Thanks for sharing at Made Especially for You this week.
