This bird is so far and I think will remain my favorite cut from this cartridge. I flipped the image for this card.
This Marquee I started off just making out of scraps from the card above, but it turned out to be a great frame for my stamp. Though you cannot see it I do have part of this cut raised. I was just testing this out but I like how it turned out and I will be entering it in:
Cardz TV: Challenge # 105 - You've been framed!
I hope you liked my cards and please check out The Paper Gourmet. I get nothing to promote them but if they stay in business, I stay happy!
Thank you,
Colin
I have also entered these into:
I know my cards aren't bright but who says kids need bright cards? Most are over stimulated as is!
I think mine are great for any boy big or small.

These are great cards! Have you ever tried Ebay for your carts? It's where I get most of my cartridges. Some new ones are still pricey. I try not to pay over 20.00 for the most part and look for no shipping and handling!
ReplyDeleteLove those colors! Cool bird and that frame is cool!
ReplyDeleteI can see why this bird cut is one of your favs, it is awesome! I love that embossing folder! Great colors too!

Hi Colin
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to The Paper Gourmet! I've just spent £98 inc. delivery for 4 CARTS! A-Maz-ing!!!(although I hate to think what the import tax will be like.Still they'll be cheaper than I can buy them here for even with delivery and tax on top. Mad, eh?)) The Art Deco cart isn't available in the Uk until May/June and Teen Scene I don't know when! I've ordered 3 Art Deco (2 for ladies that I teach) and they'll be absolutely stoked that I've got them for such and amazing price £20 each! Here they'll be at least £44!
Thanks again Colin.
Heather

ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, that bird is a really nice cut. Both cards turned out very, very good! I really want that Art Deco...badddddly. Everytime my craft budget starts to grow something comes up and I have to put it towards something else. Errr. But I will have that cartridge soon! In the meantime I will enjoy all the cards you are making with it! I'm checking out that link you put up too. Don't know if it would be a lot to ship to Minnesota but I'll find out!
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful Easter Colin and if you don't have time to get on your blog Monday....Happy Birthday my friend!!!

Hi Colin,
ReplyDeleteThat Spring paper was not in a stack. I bought it at Joanns in the open cardstock section. Love when they have good sales and you can get variety.
